How I use the 7 F’s of Oola and how you can, too!
Every night I take an inventory of how I did with the goals I had set out to accomplish that day. I take a moment to give thanks to God for another day, enabling me to work towards living my dreams. I look at my compass (it lives on my bedside table) and I pray for guidance on setting my 7 goals for the following day. Knowing each of the 7 areas of my life need to be in balance, if I want the next day to roll smoothly, I set a goal for all 7 areas. Prior to falling asleep I say a prayer of thanks for the highlights of my day, my family, talks I had with friends, fun moments I really enjoyed, the ability to feed my family, give them love and be support for them, and for a body that was physically capable of helping me get everything in the day accomplished, and finally for the ability to freely chose my work (mission) for the day to come. After I pray earnestly, give thanks for each and every 7 areas of my life, I feel rested and satisfied. I feel at ease and my sleep is restorative.
When I wake in the morning, I wake with a thankful heart, as tomorrow is never promised. I am thankful when I see my husband and my children. We are all gifted with a new day. As I brush my teeth I review my goals for the day. As my coffee brews, I balance on my balance disk and review my calendar quickly. The day unfolds with a comfortable rhythm, like the safety of a trusted tradition, and when the unexpected happens....I am ready to greet the 'surprise' with wisdom vs. emotion. I know that I have all that I need to pivot and shift, remaining in balance, so I can move forward with equilibrium.
This is the life I have cultivated. The dream I am achieving. ~ Living with balance, operating from a place of equilibrium ~ is Oola to me.
